Doubled up (left and right) oversize, advance “stop ahead” intersection warning signs on the stop controlled approaches.
Doubled up (left and right) oversize “stop” signs
Properly placed stop bar(s)
Removal of any foliage or parking that limits sight obstructions
Double arrow warning signs at the stem of T intersections
The locations identified in North Reading for these improvements are:
North Street and Central Street
Park Street and Central Street
Chestnut Street and Haverhill Street
All work will be done by Highway Safety, Inc., under the direction of MassDOT. All work is currently planned to commence on Thursday June 20, 2013. For questions, contact Michael P. Soraghan, PE, Town Engineer at 978-357-5226 or email@example.com.
